Introduce new genes, perform selected gene knockout, and amplify pathways in various strains of yeast to metabolically engineer new strains that will increase yields, maximize substrate consumption, and optimize cell growth under anaerobic and micro aerophilic conditions for the production of ethanol.

Candidate must possess PhD in a related field and at least 2 years experience with metabolic engineering, quantitative physiology, and strain improvement and selection for the creation of ethanol from yeast.
