Safety Specialist (6 month contract in Menomonee Falls, WI)

Assignment Description: This position is responsible to act as a resource for the Pilgrim Rd Facility for development, implementation, management, and continuous improvement of all safety policies. This candidate should also have the ability to work with the Union Safety Coordinators, Joint Labor/Management Safety Steering Committees, safety teams, test facilities personnel and safety groups to proactively identify and resolve safety issues. Additionally they will work closely with site security and facilities personnel to ensure all safety issues are addressed in conjunction with the specific site’s policies and procedures. Additionally, they would be responsible for developing and implementing safety training as appropriate. Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or Occupational Safety and Health Management or an equivalent degree, plus a minimum five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment required

Work Environment: Factory and Office.

Pay range is $28 - $30 per hour.
