INSTRUMENT/ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR I am looking for an Instrument Electrical Supervisor for a Minerals Processing plant.Position Summary: This position has direct supervision of the DCS technicians, electrical engineer, I/E foreman and I/E planner, as well as indirect/managerial responsibility for the power distribution group and instrument/electrical maintenance. Responsibilities include providing expertise in design, maintenance and implementation of advanced process control projects in the Process Control/DCS area. Trains and develops subordinate technicians to continually improve department productivity. Conceptualizes and implements innovations in the systems and tools to meet needs and increase department effectiveness. Supervises planning and design of plant modifications to guarantee continuous operation and efficient production. Evaluates designs and modifications, determines feasibility, recommends and implements process engineering projects for plant improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.Ten years experience in engineering disciplines preferred.Prior experience in chemical plant industrial environment required.Knowledge of safety requirements in refining operations is essential.Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential.Supervisory skills and people management ability are required.Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization is information: This company is an international industrial company, active in chemicals & plastics, with a strong focus on new sustainable Information: The plant is located in a rural setting with miles of hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, sightseeing, hunting, getting away from it all.
