Qualitek Services has an immediate contract opening for a C/C++ Embedded Systems Software Engineer in Melbourne, Florida 32935.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Candidate must have a Bachelor?s Degree with at least three years of previous C / C++ Development experience.

Required Skills:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
Three (3) to 5 years? experience with developing embedded applications for Linux
Three (3) to 5 years? experience with C++ programming
Three (3) to 2 years? experience with C programming
Experience with compilers (e.g. GCC), debuggers (e.g. GDB), bug-tracking (e.g. ClearQuest) and source code management tools (e.g. ClearCase) or similar required
Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally
Valid, unrestricted Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States or ability to obtain one
Must speak, read and write English fluently
Regular attendance and punctuality is required
Must have a positive attitude

Additional Skill Requirements:

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must be familiar with networking and network devices in a Linux environment
Must understand team software development projects
Must have excellent understanding of software development life cycle
Experience with User Based applications a plus
Results oriented
Ability to work in a team environment and in close proximity of fellow Team members
Ability to prioritize workload

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development of software products by writing, testing, and documenting code (75%)
? Generate technical requirements and processes (15%)
? Provide guidance and training to other functional groups as needed (5%)
? Other duties as assigned by Teamleader (5%)

Pay Rate: $48/hr Max DOE
